Privacy

Your PDF documents stay on your Mac.

Last updated July 16, 2026

App data

PDFAccessDesk inspects only the PDF files you choose. The current Release build does not upload documents, require an account, edit the source PDFs or include advertising trackers.

Formal validation

If you configure a compatible local veraPDF command-line installation, PDFAccessDesk runs that tool on your Mac. It does not send the PDF to a hosted validation service.

Website and checkout

This website may produce ordinary server access logs. Purchases are processed by Polar as merchant of record under its own privacy terms. Shipmac receives the purchase details needed to deliver and support the app; payment-card details are not handled by the app.

Diagnostics

No analytics or automatic crash-reporting service is enabled in the current Release build. A sample you voluntarily send to Shipmac will only be used to investigate the issue you reported.

Changes

This page will be updated if PDFAccessDesk adds an optional network feature or third-party service.

Website analytics

This website loads Google Analytics only after you choose Allow analytics. When enabled, Shipmac measures page visits, the product hostname and checkout starts; it does not send files or content processed by the Mac app. You can change your choice at any time using Analytics choices.
